Introduction

The definition of audacious: 1) extremely bold or daring; recklessly brave and fearless. That describes who we are in the PvP and PvE aspects of the World of Warcraft. We fearlessly meet new and unexplored content until we have mastered them and fight our opponents in PvP with zeal. However, audacious also means: 2) extremely original; without restriction to prior ideas and highly inventive. We are not a bunch of over-geared idiots that use the brute force approach to every problem. This level of audacity requires us to solve our problems uniquely and intuitively. We are Audacious.

Current Raid Times

Sunday - Thursday: 9:00PM - 1:30AM Server (EST)

Please note that these times are not permanent and can and will be adjusted at any time. As of now, all the content in the game has been cleared. This schedule may be shortened on a weekly basis based on clearing efficiency.

Teamwork and Independence

If you have not noticed by now, teamwork is the key to this game. A good team that works well can overcome any obstacle. If you cannot put the well being of Audacious above your own self-interests, then you probably should not belong here. However, all members are required to exhibit a degree of self-sustaining independence. Do not rely on others (unless it is imperative and you have tried otherwise) to baby-sit your way through required quests or items. We are in a virtual world where there are hundreds if not thousands of other people ready that are there to help.

Members are required to learn and play your character with absolute confidence and be well versed in ALL the roles of your class for PvE and PvP (those two aspects of the game usually go hand in hand). This includes being well versed in what all the skills and talents of your particular class as well as the different play-styles of that class.

Guild Ranks

1. Recruit
These are new recruits accepted to work towards member status due to their applications. Generally, the turnover rate for recruits should be at minimum one month and at maximum two months as we access your skills and personality. During this time, you can obtain DKP from raids and be either accepted or rejected from this guild. Recruits are expected to try and fully participate in all PvE and PvP opportunities, even if they get alt’ed by Members. Their skill and personality is gauged by guild interaction, so it is extremely important to be active during this phase.

2. Friend
These are real-life friends or good Internet friends of Members who want to join for the purpose socialization and community. Members who have sponsored friends need to make sure they understand their role and position in this guild as well as what is expected from a Friend rank. While they are not expected to be masters of their class, they are expected to know how it works and play it with at least a mediocre skill level. They are not given raid status; however, if they are adequately geared for a certain encounter and have proven their skill, then they may be asked to participate should a need arise.

3. Member
This denotes the main raiding force from Audacious. Members are expected to raid as much as possible and put in their very best efforts in raiding. Members are also expected to farm consumables to help strengthen their characters for Progressive Raids. Although you may elect to skip a raid for whatever reason (personal issues or fatigue), keep in mind that if your class is needed, it is required for you to attend.

4. Core Member
These are long-term members who have not only shown their prowess of their class, but also have demonstrated excellent leadership capabilities by putting the guild above their own needs. These are the future Officer Corps and they know how the officer structure works. They are Members chosen by the Officer Corps and interviewed to get this position. They get raid priority over Members.

5. Officer Corps
Including the Guild Master, these are the people that make the guild work by putting in time outside of the game. They get the same raid priority as Veterans. Each Officer is assigned a specific task as well as multiple side jobs to ensure that the guild runs smoothly. This is NOT a ranking position where you do nothing but get everything in return. Expect a size-able amount of work outside of game to keep the guild running efficiently.
